CHICAGO (CBS) — Prosecutors said police found 79 kilograms of cocaine with a street value of about $10 million in the home of a McKinley Park man after they arrested him Friday night.

Jose Pelayo Aguilar, 21, of the 3600 block of South Leavitt, was charged with manufacturing, delivering and possessing cocaine after police said he admitted that he had Patricia Sugey deliver one kilogram of cocaine to Roger Zeni in the 2600 block of West 36th Street.

Chicago Police confirmed that Sugey and Zeni also face drug possession charges.

Police took Aguilar into custody and executed a search warrant at his home, according to court records. They said they found 79 kilograms of what they suspected was cocaine along with $539,406.

Cook County Judge Israel Desierto ordered Aguilar held in lieu of $75,000 bail and granted a request from prosecutors to have a hearing to determine the source of his money if he tries to make bond.

Joseph Lopez, Aguilar’s defense attorney, said his client was caught in the middle of a drug deal he had nothing to do with.
